Does staff training make a difference??

Dear “Facilitator Name Deleted”,

I just wanted to sincerely express my gratitude for your patience in me having these final projects and assignments completed. It has been an uphill battle most of the year (with years end no exception) and of which your guidance and understanding is very much appreciated.

Aside from the above I felt compelled to express my sincerest thanks for the lessons given this year. Your skills as a facilitator are exemplary and of which I would not have received the level of benefit I have obtained from the course without the likes of yourself and indeed the mixed demographic of people we had in the class.

Between the likes of yourself, my Course Coach Dean Langenberg and my own Manager / Mentor – “Name Deleted” I have been extremely privileged to have been put through the LMA course and in having the likes of the three of you to have learnt and mentored from. I personally feel that I probably would not have still been employed at “Company Name Deleted” had I not undergone this course to assist me in dealing with the volume of items on my agenda and in ensuring that the staff around me are putting in as required.

Once again, Thank you for all you have done this year and for making the LMA experience an absolute winner in my books. I am looking forward to reviewing the entire course with my staff to roll down the lessons learnt effectively to them over the next 12 months in building a powerhouse department within “Company Name Deleted”.

Kind Regards,

“Candidate Name Deleted”

Procon Telematics announces global container tracking trial in collaboration with the Future Logistics Living Lab, Hamburg Süd and Casella Wines.

2 August 2012

As part of the collaboration with the Future Logistics Living Lab’s ‘Container Tracking Project’,
Hamburg Süd and Casella Wines have commenced a global trial of leading edge tracking
technology developed by Procon Telematics.

The ultimate goal of the project is to understand, analyse, track and monitor movements of
containers during the long supply chain journey between Australia and overseas destinations.
The technology enables real-time monitoring of location and climate conditions within the containers
to improve the handling of shipments, increase inventory control and reduce costs.

The trial will capture real-time data as the containers move from Australia to multiple ports in the
USA involving road, rail and sea transport. The data will be transmitted to Procon’s FleetLocate
software platform via the Telstra Next G® network, supported via a global SIM card and accessible
via a secure web portal.

Procon Telematics is an Australian owned company and the exclusive Oceanic representative of
Procon Inc., a world-leading provider of telematics and GPS-enabled business intelligence solutions.
Procon began as the world’s first fully-integrated digital telematics platform in 2003 and today the
technology is used to track and manage over 1.4 million active assets globally.
