Strategy:

At SBG we see the building of a business strategy like fitting a rudder to a ship.

Let’s ask you some questions:

  • How do you deliver a result if you don’t know what that result is? How do you steer a ship without a rudder?
  • How do you arrive at your agreed destination without charting a course first?
  • How do you stay on course if your staff don’t know what their role is during the journey?
  • Would you staff be more engaged in their roles if they knew what the company heading was?

We can work closely with you to establish the business strategy for your company, either one on one or in group workshops.

One on one we will establish the strategy framework best suited to your company. We always say framework because it is you who write the strategy, if you are going deliver on it you must be the authors and own it.

The framework will include purpose, focus and value proposition to market amongst other things. Out of this framework will drop out the key high pay off activities for your Management Team.

From this will flow department based strategies, we will work with your department heads to build these. Again we will establish their key high pay off activities which will be aligned with those of the senior Management Team.

We can also deliver this process in a series of companywide workshops, managed well this ensures the strategy is owned by a broader base within your organisation.

Training:

We work closely with one of Australia’s leading Leadership and Management Training Organisations.

A fully accredited ATO we achieve sustained change in our participants using spaced repetition learning, courses are generally held fortnightly over three to nine months depending on the course.

At the heart of the process is developing employee engagement, teaching them to be leaders of themselves and their staff, if they have them and creating goal focused and driven employees.

Whilst we work with many models we base our training on improving business outcomes by changing the conditioning of the participants. Most Leadership courses focus on the employee changing the employee actions, we work with the route cause. How did/do they develop their attitudes?

Our staff are both qualified in Certificate 4 Training and Assessment and accredited Leadership Management Coaches. We will work with your employees over the course journey to support them on their road to success.

Focusing on the Transport and Logistics sector we ensure the goals set by your staff are relevant to your workplace and deliver a return on investment for the business.

Mentoring:

If formal training is not your thing but you want to invest in some staff development then we may have the answer?

If you feel that your identified talent pool needs some one on one mentoring we may have the answer?

We have developed a mentoring program to meet the needs of a client base that is running a lean staffing regime or are simply seeking a very targeted approach. Normally run over ten two hour sessions our program covers subjects such as goal planning, time management, continuous improvement and profit and loss analysis just to mention a few.

The program, being ours can be tailored. You may like certain subjects emphasised more than others, you may want an employee weakness focused on or you may simply want to adopt our program. We will sit down with you and review the program and develop a solution for your company and your staff.

Delivered by qualified and highly experienced staff our program once adopted has often been extended beyond the 10 sessions.

We also offer pay as you go terms for our mentoring program.
